This 40-hour Hazardous Materials Technician (HMT) course, based on NFPA® 470: Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Standard for Responders, which is a combination of standards NFPA® standards 1072 & 472 and 463, provides participants with HazMat-specific response knowledge and skills, enabling them to respond safely and effectively to a suspected incident at the hazardous materials technician level.
